Obituary of Ruth Ada Simon
Ruth A. Simon of Fort Worth, Texas, “eternally 39,” as she wished this to read, passed away on March 12, 2018, in Fort Worth.
Ruth asked for no funeral or memorial service. Her remains were cremated, and in accordance with her wishes, her ashes will be scattered by her two children at a lake in the Colorado mountains she loved.
Ruth was born in Osage City, Kansas. She later moved to Wichita and attended North High School.
She and her first husband, Dr. John C. Baker, lived in Buena Vista, Fairplay, and Salida Colorado, Los Angeles, California, and St. Louis, Missouri. They settled in Fort Worth in 1949.
Ruth was a kind and loving person. She was a devoted homemaker and mother who always put the needs of her children before her own.

Ruth is survived by her two children, Barbara J. Baker of Salida, Colorado, and J. Samuel Baker of Fort Worth Texas. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. John C. Baker of Fort Worth, and by her second husband, Milton S. Simon of Fort Worth.
