Obituary of Monica Celeste Galvan

Monica Celeste Galvan, 31, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 in Gretna, La.

Visitation: 12 noon – 1 pm Saturday, New Life Church, 402 Oaks Trail, Garland, Texas.

Service: 1 pm Saturday, September 29, New Life Church.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be made to 1905 Eldorado Dr, Garland, TX 75042.

Monica was born on October 13, 1986 in Dallas, Texas to Deborah and Stephen Gay. She was a loving mother and wife and loved spending time with her family. Monica was also a recording artist and worship leader; she touched many people with her musical gift. The family would like to thank all of the friends and family who have prayed and supported the Galvan Family through Monica’s battle.

Monica was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors: Husband, Aaron Julio Galvan; children, Celeste Railyn Galvan and London Grace Galvan; mother, Deborah Ann Hughes; brothers, Stephen Anthony Gay, Jr and Nathan Glynn-Duff Gay; sister, Melody Diane Jones; grandmother, Margie Ann Whaley; step-father, William Michael Hughes, Sr; step-mother, Rhonalda Renee Gay; step-sisters, Abigail Louise Hulett and Jammie Cook; step-brothers, William Michael Hughes, Jr and Cody Summers
