Albert Berkley Whitt passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
Services: A visitation will begin at 11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life following at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Greater Rising Star Baptist Church, 5513 Como Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Officiating: Rev. Floyd Brooks, Pastor.
Interment: Crowley Cemetery, 300 N Hampton Rd, Crowley, TX 76036.
Albert was born on November 9, 1951 in Henderson, Texas to Ola Wese Berkley and Ervin Whitt. He accepted Christ at a young age. Albert attended Como and graduated in 1968. He later received a College Degree from Tarrant County Junior College. Albert never married nor had any children but had lots of nieces and nephews that he so loved and cherished. Albert loved playing pool, playing the piano and spending time with family.
Albert was preceded in death by his mother Ola Wese Washington, his stepfather Eddie Washington.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors: Father, Ervin Whitt; brother, Edwin Washington; sisters, Joyce Holmes, Gladys Washington Amie, Janice Washington; special uncles, Franklin Berkley and Tommy Berkley; very special friend, Bill Tinsley; a special friend, Shirley Crosby Cook; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
