Karen and I were teenagers together in Inwood. We went to church together and were Rainbow Girls together. I remember she took piano lessons from Mrs Kline and really learned to play popular songs and I took from the church organist Mr. Davies and I only learned classical music and was never, ever good at it, We have been in contact all these years and I shall miss our e mails. I want the family to know as a teen she was very very pretty and very popular and had a great personality with lots of happiness, Her mom and dad were great folks. and after her dad passed and Karen had moved on, I bought Karen's piano and had it taken from the 4th floor of her moms apartment building on another block, rolled through the streets of New York and they carried it up the 5 flights to my apartment. No elevators.. It remained with me and just recently I gave it to a young boy who is learning the piano, A sweet memory.
