Please share a memory of Bennett to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dear Bennett,
Your father and I couldn’t wait to meet you, and apparently you couldn’t wait to meet us. January 15, 2020, you decided to make your grand entrance into this world at just 23 weeks and four days on your own terms. Getting to know you during your brief week on Earth was one of the greatest joys and privileges your father and I have ever known. I really could not believe that God would entrust you, such a tiny and helpless baby, into our care. You were ours. You were ours even when we got news that broke our hearts. You were ours when we had to make one of the most difficult choices we’ve ever made. On January 22, 2020, we held you, snuggled with you, and gave you all the hugs and kisses for the first time without you being hooked up to a ventilator. Getting to see your face and hold you was the best, and it will be glorious when we get to see you again We love you and miss you more than we can express, but we know your passing isn’t the end.
Love,
Mom and Dad
