Herbert Dale Arnold, born in Newark Arkansas on July 9, 1940, died on November 6, 2020 in Dallas Texas.
Herbert Dale Arnnold was born on July 9, 1940 in Newark Arkansas and passed away on November 6, 2020 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 28 days. He loved to fish Lake Fork, Possum Kingdom and Hoot and Holler Lake. He also loved to take his daughter fishing and camping on the weekends. From a young age he loved Country Gospel Music, and shared his passion for Classic Country music like Meryl Haggard, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Sr with his daughter.
Herbert was very likable and loved everyone, he never meet a stranger. He also took care of the homeless, employing them, feeding them, and did all he could to take them off the street. His daughter remembers her friends loved to come over to see him, and even when she was at work, he would take them fishing with him, he was a joy to be around.
For many years, Herbert had his own construction company in Oklahoma "Arnold Construction" he, his father and his only brother Eddie worked together. He loved his brother who also passed away with Alzheimer's in 2011. He feel ill in 2008, and God gave his family 12 more years. For the past 5 months he has battle and finally had to surrender, God wanted another Angel.
His daughter said she never saw him mad, angry or treat anyone badly, he wasn't a worrisome person, and at the age of 80 he didn't have a grey hair on his head. He shared his craft with many, also teaching his stepson to Lay Concrete.
Herbert didn't really like the city and wanted to get back to the woods of Arkansas. He wasn't a rich man, but, he always provided for his family, and tuaght them the value of hard work. They wouldn't trade a Fortune for the life that he gave them.
The Brightest, Most Beautiful Light in the World has gone, the day he died. The world lost a special person, there will never be another like him. You will see him again one day in heaven is my hope. Jesus loves me yes I know, so I'll keep rolling with the flow.
