Glen William Bucy, a Baptist minister and Respiratory therapist for over 40 years, passed away on December 10th, 2020 from Covid-19 at the young age of 63 in Fort Worth, TX.
Reverend Glen Bucy, was born on October 1st, 1957 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He accepted Jesus Christ while working at McDonalds at 17 years old. Glen joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Italy. On fire for Jesus, he attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO where he met the love of his life, Tammy Jean Allen. They were united in matrimony on December 19th, 1980. This union was blessed with four children: Glen, Benjamin, Judah and Joshua Bucy.
Glen attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters in Divinity while working full time as a Respiratory Therapist for Texas Health Hospitals. As a result of his joyous spirit and contagious laugh, Glen was loved by many. His Christian life was as beautiful as his love for the Lord and his family, and his influence and kindness will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother Charlene and Chuck Wilson, his father Glenn Bucy and wife Tammy, his four children, six grandchildren, three siblings, Tammy Bonner, Charles Bucy and Keri Reiff, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
