Obituary of Roger Allen Kingery

Roger Allen Kingery was born March 8th, 1935, and died at Texas Health Arlington Memorial on March 1, 2021 at the age of eighty-five and went to be with the Lord.
Roger is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley Hall Kingery of Grand Prairie, TX; his children Kenneth Allen Kingery and wife Christina Nicole Kingery of Joshua, TX; Ashley Ann Kingery Meshell and Joseph Edward Meshell Jr, of Joppa, MD, stepchildren Melanie Hall Ward and husband Michael Lloyd Ward of Palestine, TX, Michael Don Hall and Queawatha Dean Hall of Grand Prairie, TX with Grandchildren: Katelyn, Coby, Aubrey, Bret, Cheyenne, Devon, Savannah, Kaiden, Hailey, Ally, and Colten. Great-Grandchildren: Paislee and Nathaniel.
Roger is preceded in death by his father Homar G Kingery, mother Eva Jameson Kingery, Sister Nona Kingery Williams, and Brother Leslie (Les) Kingery.
Roger was beloved by his family. He loved the Lord and was a faithful charter member of New Testament Baptist Church in Pantego, TX. Roger held many jobs throughout his life that included ranching, farming, welding, building, gardening, trucking and finally a school bus driver for the last 20 years for GPISD before he retired.
He was a peacemaker within the family, slow to anger and very patient. He had the ability to remember dates of importance and events better than most people, finally; he came to fatherhood at the age of fifty and was blessed with fraternal twins, Ashley and Kenny.
A funeral service under the direction of Martin Thompson and Sons is scheduled at 9:00AM on March 9, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with Pastor Dr David Bryant officiating.
