Obituary of Giau Van Trieu

Giau Van Trieu, 75, of Fort Worth, Texas, after a year-long battle with esophageal cancer, peacefully left this world on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Giau was born in Saigon, Vietnam, where he served as a Lieutenant in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. Following the Fall of Saigon, he moved with his family to Wichita, Kansas and then later to Fort Worth, Texas. Giau was a loyal and kind man. He made lasting friendships throughout his life and was a constant supporter for his family. He enjoyed jazz music in his earlier years, fishing and gardening, traveling the world, and cruises in his retirement. He was full of wisdom and lived an honest life. He will be missed by many.
