Obituary of Laura Bell Moulden
Laura Bell Moulden, 43, of Ft Worth, TX, passed away on October 29th, 2021, at John Peter Smith Hospital, following a car accident on September 25th.
Born April 2nd, 1978, in Dallas, she was the daughter of Terri Jackson and Eddie Moulden. She worked various jobs through the years, always bringing her lively spirit to challenging days. Her humor and authenticity created community wherever she found herself. She spoke of the people she worked with like they were family, especially the younger folks.
Laura had beautiful handwriting and loved to bring color to blank pages. She had a gift for tattooing, and if you sat around long enough, you might walk away with some fresh ink on your skin. She enjoyed spending her free time with the people she loved, relaxing, cooking delicious meals, or watching a good show.
If you knew Laura, you probably had a nickname. Even the nurses at the hospital said she gave each person a special name.
The love Laura had for her family molded and shaped her as a woman. She did her best to provide a life she didn’t get to have, a life with a mother in the home.
Laura Moulden is survived by her three children, Jeremiah Smith, 23, and his partner, Kylie Shelton, Jazmyn Smith, 20, and Jordan Collie, 18.
Also surviving is her father, Eddie Moulden, and his wife, Glenda Moulden, her sister, Lisa Love Moulden, her nephew, Elijah Brooks, and her niece, JoiAnna Moulden. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Terri Jackson.
