Glen Vick Brown died Sunday morning, April 5th, 2015, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Vick was born March 20, 1939, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Dorothy Vick Brown of Graham, Texas and Marvin Holloman Brown Jr.
He graduated from Paschal High School in 1957 and was a member of the "Tanglewood Ten". Vick then graduated with a B.A degree from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1961, where he was a third generation member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Vick received his L.L.B from University of Texas Law School in Austin in 1965.
His career included serving as: Assistant City Attorney in Fort Worth; Underwriting Counsel in the Fort Worth Law Firm of Crumley, Murphy, Shrull; Executive Vice President for Capital Title Company in Houston; General Counsel for Southern Title Guaranty; President of Fayetteville County Abstract in La Grange, Texas; Counsel for Edwards Abstract in Edinburg, Texas; General Counsel's Staff for FAMCO Services, Inc in Dallas; Counsel for Partner's Title Company in Houston and for Land America Title in Fort Worth.
Vick was a member of the Texas State Bar, Texas State Title Association and Colonial Country Club. He was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed bay fishing with friends at Port Aransas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Marvin H. Brown III.
Survivors: His son, Glen Vick Brown Jr.; sister-in-law, Carol Brown of Wichita Falls; aunt, Mrs. Richard Brown of Fort Worth; cousin, Tim Brown of Austin; and nephew, Chris Brown of Wichita Falls.
