Cherry was born at home in Ft. Worth, TX to Francis and Eugenia Turpen. She worked as a Waitress at the Original Mexican Restaurant for 34 years. She was a loving and caring mother of two sets of twins 2 1/2 years apart.
Mom enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Playing pool, camping, fishing, bowling and traveling, and she was a good cook. She loved going to New Orleans, Las Vegas and Graceland. Mom was the Den Mother for her sons boy scout troop.
Cherry couldn't go anywhere that she didn't see someone she knew. Even out of the country. She always had a funny joke or a snappy comeback.
She always want her four kids to be together. Cherry was so proud of her two sets of twins. Mom always had a way of knowing things before we told her, like getting in trouble at School.
Cherry was preceded in death by her loving husband for over 27 years Tommy.
