Edward and I were very good friends as we worked together at Delta for several years. We would leave work early afternoon each day and head to Fort Worth or Dallas for dinner and some type of entertainment. He would never hesitate having a group of people at his apartment to see his gun and leather collection. Ed was proud of his display of his African masks.
I was so grateful to have Edward as my closest friend that I asked him to be the “best man” at my wedding in 1984. He and another friend , Kim Keating, flew to Cincinnati and participated in the ceremony..
My greatest regret was moving and failing to continue my relationship with Edward. He was a very unique man. Edward was not the type to search for happiness, he created happiness. I really miss him.
My most sincere condolences to my beautiful daughter in law and her family for their loss. I always enjoyed Ed’s stories of his adventures and travels but I will never forget what he did to get my sons to me in my time of need. He was definitely my hero and I can’t express how much that meant to me and my family. God bless and may he Rest In Peace.
