Obituary of Francesca Naomi Sturdivant

 Francesca Naomi Sturdivant, 88, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022.  

A visitation will be held at Martin Thompson Funeral Home, 6009Wedgewood Dr. Fort Worth, Tx. 76133 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 3rd. A Graveside Service will follow at: 12:30 p.m. at the Woodland Park Cemetery, 3600 S Oak Ave, Mineral Wells, TX 76067.      

The family welcomes friends and family to attend both.

Francesca was born on Wednesday, August 15, 1934, to Leslie Scott and Leona H. Moore.   

After high school she studied ballet and acting. She was a very talented actress and moved to New York City, where she performed in several off- Broadway productions.

Francesca grew up mostly in Texas, attending college at TWC and graduated from Ohio State University with a Master's in Fine Arts Degree.  

Francesca was a teacher at St. Andrews Catholic School and Calvary Cathedral School for over fifteen years. 

She loved the Lord, attending church and reading her bible. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She loved and enjoyed spoiling her animals. 

Francesca was also a health food guru and a great storyteller and had a sharp sense of humor.

Francesca was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Moore and Mary Leona Harris-Moore; and husband, Brian Sturdivant.

She is survived by her daughter, Eva-Marie Sturdivant; grandchildren, Ann-Marie Sturdivant, Elizabeth Sturdivant-Burris and husband Steve Burris; great-grandchild, Emily Elizabeth Burris; and sister-in-law, Barbara Fulgham.
