Birgit Anderson, 74, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
Celebration of Life: 4 P.M., Tuesday, February 24, 2015, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5709 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth.

Birgit was born on November 19, 1940 in Denmark to Arne and Eva Vendelbo. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Birgit was the co-owner of Sunset Winery, aka...The Best Little Wine House in Texas. She loved ballroom dancing and met her husband on a dance floor in 1960. Birgit was an avid gardener, gourmet cook, loved traveling, and being a part of her family's daily lives. When her girls were young she was a Girl Scout leader. Birgit was the Past President of the Burleson Business & Professional Women, and received the Paul Harris Fellowsip from the Burleson Rotary Club.
Birgit was preceded in death by her daughter Bodil Joy Anderson.
Survivors; Husband, Bruce Anderson; daughters, Britt Lopez and Belinda Vallejo and her husband Roland; grandchildren, Dange, Caden, Malena, and Zane Lopez; Ryan, Liska, and Aliyah Vallejo; great grandchildren Bryan Vallejo and Donavan and Celise Warren; sister, Kit Linneballe and husband Jørgen; and a host of extended family and friends.
