Obituary of Kelly Jean Palmer
Kelly Jean Dix was born on September 10th, 1970, in Menominee Michigan. During her childhood the family moved numerous times living in six different states. Kelly grew up playing softball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball; she was a great athlete.
Kelly graduated from Tracy High School in Tracy California, in 1988. She worked at Home Express and Michaels. She began a career as a Financial Planner with Stage Stores in Houston Texas. She married Donald Palmer in June of 2000 in Jamaica. They spent seven years together and loved going back to Jamaica for their anniversaries.
As Kelly’s health declined, she eventually moved to Fort Worth Texas to be near family. She loved her dog, Sophie; she loved her many friends, and she dearly loved her brothers and sisters at Waples Baptist Church. Most importantly, she loved Jesus Christ. Kelly loved to pass out Gospel tracts during her many hospital stays. Kelly went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday October 13th, 2022. She will be dearly missed.
Kelly was preceded in death by her niece Alyssa.
She is survived by her parents, Aaron and Bonnie Dix; brothers, Greg Dix and wife Kendy, Jeff Dix and Scott Dix and wife Lori; sister, Jodi Wall and husband Patrick; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
