Obituary of Neita Rhea Snow

Neita Rhea Tyson Snow, 82, of Fort Worth Texas passed away December 8th 2022.

Neita was born in Goldthwaite, Texas to Vernard and Opal Tyson. She was nicknamed "Pill " as a child, a name that many family members called her growing up.

Her family moved to Bowie, Texas, then to Fort Worth Texas, where she attended Carter Riverside Jr High and Diamond Hill Jarvis High School. She then moved to San Diego California and back to Fort Worth to raise her children. She went on to attend Tarrant County Junior College to learn office skills.

She worked at Diamond Oaks Veterinary clinic, where she had a love for animals especially dogs. She went on to work for Jagz Hair Studio, where she made lifelong friends and memories. She then went on to open her own salon in Grapevine Texas, Rheas for Hair. She later worked for William Rigg Co in the claims dept before retiring.

Neita had a passion for sewing that she learned from her Aunt Mildred and spent many hours sewing various dresses and costumes for herself and her children. She was an excellent seamstress. Later on in life, she took up cake decorating and loved spending time making cakes for her grandchildren's birthdays and holiday events.

Neita is survived by her sons, Steven Ray Williams and Stewart Ray Williams; daughters, Cheryl Rhea Lewis and Susan Rhea Sapp; grandchildren, Joshua and Zachery Lewis, Jonathan and Joel Curry, Haley Williams Murphy; great-grandchildren, Logan Lewis, Nolan Curry, Henry Curry.

Services will be held privately. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to your local humane society or animal shelter.
