Jim Audas, 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
Service: 3 p.m. Monday, Marty Leonard Chapel, 3200 Sanguinet St., Ft. Worth.
Interment: 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dallas Ft. Worth, National Cemetery, Dallas.

Jim was born On March 11th 1938 in Paducah, Kentucky to Kenneth and Opal Audas.
He graduated from Central City High School in Central City Kentucky in 1955 then served four years in the Navy aboard the U.S.S Hanson.
Jim taught school for many years in both Vine Grove, Kentucky and retired from the Dallas Independent School District. Jim enjoyed preaching and studying prophecy along with keeping up with world events.
At age 30 he met Mona Edgar and they began a truly blessed marriage that has lasted more than four and half decades. Jim was ordained with the Assemblies Of God.
With each passing year they struggled side by side through life's challenges. A few years passed and he and Mona adopted three children Carol, Steven and Michael. He was always vigilant to lead, teach and live out the principles in Gods word. Even assisting with raising a couple of their grandsons as needed. Jim made it his life's goal to always be well informed and spent many hours studying the Bible researching prophecy and the Messianic roots of his faith.
Jim was a member of Beth Yeshua Congregation. He enjoyed reading books on prophecy and healing along with watching news and programs describing the end times. He was loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and will be missed.
Survivors: Wife, Mona Audas; children, Carol J. Barnes, Michael Audas and wife, Elizabeth, and Steven Audas; brother, John Audas; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
