Dad was a a gentle giant with a smile that will be the lasting memory I have. I don’t have one memory… I could go on & on! My Dad shared life. He was a Strong Christian Man who didn’t have to be loud to get his point across. He found humor in almost everything and loved his work because he loved people. Being a Husband, a Dad, a Trooper, a believer, all things he was proud of, and all things he succeeded at. When I was a little girl (probably even as a teen) riding in the car with my Dad I could say Daddy how fast is 20 miles an hour or 60 miles an hour…he would accelerate just to make me smile. When I was in elementary school and I got to have my Dad come share what his job was, I can remember every single magic trick his kindness, and what a Hero he was to me! I have always been a Daddy’s girl. I know he is gone from this earth, but he is in Heaven with God, and he is whole. I love you and I miss you Dad. ♥️

DB, scariest and sweetest man I’ve ever known! Early in life, I was so afraid to talk to him but later on, I grew to love and adore him! He was always so much fun! Miss you DB! Thank you for being such a wonderful Grandfather and Father!

A few things I will always remember about my “Pepe” was his smirk/smile. Anytime family would get together and someone would say something that would get a few laughs rather it should be funny or not, he would look over and smirk but know not to draw too much attention his way. Another memory/lesson, he always would have a knife on him. I never understood why until I become a dad, since I’ve always carried a knife to open any toys, gift, etc for Colt. I learned it from him. I will always miss his presence.

Dad would keep me guessing! He took my vehicle to get it detailed and filled up during my lunch break. I went to take my coworkers and me out & the car was missing. We had Friday afternoon lunches at Jimmy's Egg (his favorite place in Oklahoma). We tackled projects or home improvements together, that made us both crazy when all we could do was laugh at each other and be thankful the project was done!
