Zelda Corbett Burden 82, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014.
Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, St Bartholomew Catholic Church, 3575 Alta Mesa Blvd, Ft. Worth.
Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth.
Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
Zelda was born on November 28, 1932 in Iago, Texas to William and Mabel Cook. She was a long-time organist at both St. Andrews and St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.. Zelda was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Zelda was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Corbett Duncan.
Survivors: Daughters, Colleen Schumacher and husband Richard, Cathy Wheeler, and Adrian Corbett, PhD and husband Melvyn Goldfinger PhD; sons, James Corbett and wife Mildred and Tim Corbett and wife Carrie; son-in-law, Douglas Duncan; sister, Doris Schiffer; brother, Melvin Cook and wife Peggy; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
