Obituary of Karen Arlene Spurlock
Karen Arlene Spurlock, 59, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on October 19, 2023.
“A good cook always cleans her kitchen.”
Karen was a one of kind person who loved her children fiercely. She never lost laughter, love, or a sense of humor. She would always find herself in a fit of giggles with her people, and her dogs were always right by to cuddle with.
"Baking is a science.""Not my monkey. Not my Circus.""Squirrley"
Karen was engaged in a range of hobbies and activities during her life. She loved cooking and often showed her love through homemade meals. She also loved showing others how to cook. She also loved to eat, especially if the meal involved chips and salsa. She was dorky, and full of life. She loved to dance around to the music of God. She also loved her family dearly. She enjoyed their company, even in silence.

Karen is survived by her four children, Shelby (31), Bruce (28), Trevor (24, wife Nikita), and Bailey (21); two grandchildren, Malakai and Camila; her sister, Vivian; her sister in-law, Candace; her many cousins, and her 3 dogs Bella, Bear, and Koda.
Karen is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan; her two children lost before birth, Samuel, and Alexandra; her parents, Royal Dean Spurlock and Norma Jeanne Craig; her siblings, Brian Spurlock and Lisa Spurlock, and her aunt, Eunice Spurlock.
Karen was a once in a lifetime person and mother and she will be carried in the hearts of those who love her for the rest of their days.
