Obituary of Roy Daniel Primeaux
Roy Daniel "Danny" Primeaux, 75, of Burleson, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
Services: A Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2023, at St. Francis Village Catholic Chapel, 4070 St Francis Village Rd, Crowley, TX 76036.
Interment: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75211.

He was born on Monday, August 9, 1948, in Beaumont, TX. He was the beloved son of Oley and Pauline Primeaux. Danny proudly served in the United States Army, with a deployment to South Korea as part of his dedicated service to our nation. During his professional life, he served as a police officer at Lamar University-Beaumont. Later, he worked for Medical Digital Imaging as a technician of medical equipment at hospitals and doctor offices in the Beaumont area. Danny’s passion for music led him to sing harmoniously in the Southwestern District Barbershop Harmony Society as a Harmony Exporter. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, became an avid researcher of life’s curiosities, and self-proclaimed the title “design consultant” to assist Ida in her craft shows.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Primeaux; sons, Daniel Owen Primeaux and wife, Rose of the Marshall Islands; Emile “Milo” Daniel Primeaux of San Fransico, CA; brothers, David Primeaux and wife, Angie of Newton, TX; Mike Primeaux and wife, Gloria Jean of Spring, TX; sisters, Jeannie Griggs of Newton, TX: and Julie Rodriguez of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Danica-Rose Primeaux, Rowen Primeaux; 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his son, Joshua Primeaux.
