Obituary of Tung Phuoc Thi Ngo
Tung Ngo was born on December 25, 1932. She married her love, Nghi Ngo and started a journey of complete dedication to her family. Throughout her life, she put all her efforts and hard work into her husband and children. She never left her husband’s side when he was severely wounded in the War. She left her birthplace (Vietnam) for a better life and single handedly protected her four children in a dangerous journey to America.
She worked endlessly in a new country to ensure that her children would have an education so they can be successful. Once she had grandchildren, she extended her heart and love to raise them. Even at 65, she cared for one of her grandchildren since birth, staying up many nights raising this child. She always made sure that all her grandchildren were happy and emphasized education to prepare them for the future. She was passionate about cooking for her family. She was an amazing cook who forever wanted to see her loved ones enjoy all the wonderful dishes she prides herself on learning through the years.
Tung never asked for material things. She certainly enjoyed a trip here and there to the casinos but was not driven by wealth! She also loved delicious food – all kinds: Mexican, Italian, Asian… We pray for our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to sit in heaven, enjoying a huge spread of wonderful cuisine and pulling on slot machines on the side!
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nghi Ngo, and survived by her four children, Luc Ngo and wife Hoa, Thanh Ngo and wife Thuy, Vien Phan and husband Luong, Tri Ngo and wife Lan; eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
