Obituary of Patricia Ann Crawford

Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Patricia Ann (Pat Harris) Crawford entered this world on January 27, 1945, in the farmhouse of Robert Ellis and Annie J. Harris on the outskirts of Merkel, Texas. She spent her early years in Merkel, attending school there until she relocated to Kermit, Texas, alongside her mother, Bonnie, during her teenage years. It was in Kermit where she resided until her marriage.

After a valiant battle with illness, Pat peacefully departed on February 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Harris, and her mother, Bonnie DeYoung.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 37 years, David, who remained by her side until the end. Pat is also survived by her loving sons, James Eason, Robert Eason, Jerrod Gaines, Scott Crawford, and Brent Crawford. Her legacy further lives on through her brothers, Stanley Harris and his wife Iris, James Harris, Frank Harris, and Ron Harris and his wife Kathy. Additionally, she leaves behind two sisters, Cynthia Reagan and Debbie Anderson; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and countless friends in Weatherford and Merkel.

In remembrance of Pat's life and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Peach Tree Place in Weatherford, Texas, where she spent her final days surrounded by care and compassion.
