Obituary of Cheryl Ann Herrick
Cheryl Ann Herrick, 72, of Dallas, Texas passed away on September 14, 2024. She lived at Meadowstone Place in Dallas for the past 6 years and was active on the Residents Council where she implemented the first recycling program for residents and made many close friends there.
Cheryl grew up in Amarillo and attended Stephens College in Missouri and then the University of Texas at Austin where she received her BFA. Cheryl worked for many of the advertising agency greats in her over 40-year professional career. Most recently, she worked for Moroch for 11 years and was their Senior Print Producer. Before that she worked for Bozell & Jacobs,J. Walter Thompson, as well as The Zales’s Corporation.
Cheryl was a talented and amazing artist, and we cherish her many paintings. Cheryl collected friends in diverse groups who she traveled with and socialized with. Her laugh was contagious and good medicine for the soul. Cheryl loved travel adventures and made friends wherever she went. She was a loyal friend and will be greatly missed.
Chery is preceded in death by her parents, Ann and Tom Herrick of Amarillo, Texas. Her nephew, Grey Gerard Knotter of Washington DC. She is survived by her sister, Kim Knotter (David) of Phoenix. Mary Lou Ryan (John) of Ft. Worth. Tom Herrick Jr. (Laura) of San Antonio. Nieces and nephews; Adrian Clair Knotter and Justin Ward of San Francisco, Ben and Meredith Ryan of Ft. Worth, Walker Ryan and Kaylee Johnson(fiancé) of Austin, Henry and Gabi Ryan of Dallas. Thomas Herrick III of Houston, Hailey Herrick of Chicago. Her great nephews, Jaden Grey Kant, Tripp and Carter Ryan.
