I love my Grandmommy and will miss her very much. She was funny, kind and thoughtful, which she proved with greeting cards. I loved the way her nose crinkled when I made her giggle. We shared a love of lemon cake and strawberry ice cream, I’m pretty sure I got my sweet tooth from her. She was traditional, delicate and had graceful poise-she was a true ‘lady’ in every way. Her fashion sense was impeccable, always matching her accessories perfectly. I enjoyed our talks about her childhood in the country and stories of her youth in grapevine before she married and started a family. I know she is happy in heaven with loved ones, most likely laughing at my silliness like they did when they were here. I will miss her greatly.

My Aunt Betty was the kindest, sweetest and most thoughtful woman in the world. She was the youngest of all the Tibbs girls, but didn't make a difference to her because she always stood her ground with them. After the other siblings passed away, she took upon herself to keep in touch with the nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. And I am one who appreciated that. She helped answer questions about the family history so we could have a piece of their history. I will miss the phone conversations and her laughs.
Aunt Betty, I know you are with the Lord now and with loved ones in heaven. I love you.

Aunt Betty was my mom, Maggie's, youngest sister. She was a great aunt and a wonderful lady. We stayed in touch because she kept the communication open through phone calls and the many cards she sent. One of my favorite memories of her was the "sisters Dinner" usually the first weekend in December. The sisters took turns hosting. They all brought something yummy to share. I loved the way the sisters and brothers in law would laugh and enjoy a great time.
Aunt Betty would always say I love you when she was about to hang up the phone.
This is the closing chapter of the Tibbs sisters. I'm going to miss her very much.
Her niece, Sherry Driggars York ❤️
