Beverly Dianne Driggers Byers, is my step-mother, my friend, my enemy, my coach, and my supporter when no one else was and even through the hard times between a step-mom and step-daughter, she was more patient with me and more loving than ever this last year that I got to spend with her and I will miss her dearly and she has made a lasting and heartfelt impression in my soul. Bevvy as I'd call her during our Yahtzee games, was a fighter and I'm sure glad God made her that way, because she had a lot of reasons to fight! She told me not to get depressed because she was ready and I know she was and has been. So, I will not say sappy things, but all I know is she is one happy happy happy camper, up there in heaven with her mom, dad, brother, friends and my dad. I will never be the same because of my step-mom's love for me and she knows how much I loved her and wanted the best for her. I will always know she is in heaven pushing me along, encouraging me to do the best I can no matter what anyone else says! God has blessed us all to have known her! ~~~ Pamela S.
