Obituary of Nannie Brunner
Please share a memory of Nannie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, just after 1:00 a.m. Nannie (Nan) Pearl Brunner slipped away from earthly life to be with her Lord. She was 96; born Sept. 23, 1919 in Columbia KY. She later moved to Chicago, IL where she met and married her husband, Alfred (Al) Brunner. They had two children, John and Sharon. Supporting her husband's many trades and talents, they later lived in Baroda, MI, Anderson, IN and Westtown, NY. Nan and Al retired to Kingston, TN. where Al passed away in 1987. Nan moved to Euless, TX in 1996 to live with John and his wife, Janet. She enjoyed a long and happy life but required full time nursing care in March of 2014 after experiencing medical complications.
She is now reunited with her parents, husband Al, sisters Bess, Opal, brother Fred, along with many other family members and friends.
Survivors include her son John and wife, Janet, daughter Sharon, three grandchildren and two nieces. She will return to Tennessee to her final resting place, alongside her husband Al. There are no local services planned. The family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Health Care Center-Bedford for over a year of support and loving care. Godspeed, our dearest Nan. Now you know all the answers. May God bless and embrace your sweet, sweet soul. We loved having you here in Texas. You will be missed by all who had to pleasure to know you.
