Bert was one of a kind and loved life and all in it !!! Totally non-judgmental and happy to be himself ... extremely confident. He was a love of my life and a friend forever. I have too many fond memories to list and as he said once, I wouldn't be where I am without him ... meaning he introduced me to chili cooking and my subsequent retirement to Ajijic/Lake Chapala, Mexico. His first 74 or so years were magical and filled with love and happiness. His last few years were so very sad because he was such a large personality in health. Go with God, Bert.
