Obituary of Ethel Marie Womble

Ethel Marie Womble, a loving Mother, Grandmother and friend, passed away on July 22, 2016, after a series of strokes. Born July 21, 1949 in Wise County, Virginia, Ethel had been a Benbrook resident for the past 20+ years. She was a faithful member of Victory Christian Center, and knew that her faith and love in Jesus Christ would see her through all life’s trials. Her friends knew that Ethel had a heart as big as Texas, especially for animals. She enjoyed volunteering for 4PAWS helping adopt rescues into loving homes, and loved working with Beyond the Rainbow Pet Hospice, where she helped families grieving the loss of a family pet. Visitation: Sunday at 1:30 at Victory Christian Center, 737 Boyd Road, Azle. Funeral: Sunday at 2:30 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Chelsea’s Fund, 9463 Benbrook Blvd, #130, Benbrook, TX 76126, to help provide end-of-life care to pets in need. Survivors: Sons: Billy Wayne Womble and wife Rhonda of Big Stone Gap, Va, Robert Womble and wife Denise of Poolville, daughter: Tami Womble and fiancée Mark Armentano of Benbrook, Grandchildren; Dustin Womble and girlfriend, Megan Hughes, Hayley and Meghan Hubbard, Billy Womble II, Crystal Marie Womble, Shawn Falin and Robby Womble, and 2 great-grandchildren.
