Elsie M. Seiverling, 79 of Granbury, Texas passed away on August 19, 2016 at the Granbury Villa Nursing Center in Granbury, Texas.
There will not be any funeral services; wishes of both Elsie and her husband Sei were to be cremated.
Elsie was born in Andalusia, Alabama to Charles and Mazie Turner on February 25, 1937. She attended high school at Pleasant Home High School and graduated in 1955. She went on to join the Air Force and served as an Airman 1st Class until her discharge in 1957. She worked over the years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Bookkeeper and then for Rite Aide as a head cashier for many years before retiring. Elsie lived in Yuma, Arizona with her husband Sei for many years, she loved the desert, going on motorcycle trips with her husband, watching the many hummingbirds on their patio and going to swap meets. Elsie enjoyed music, raising her daughters, road trips, reading, crafts, her favorite holiday was Christmas, she loved eating out and shopping, her family and friends and serving the Lord. She loved working for her church in various departments. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother; she selflessly served her family with lots of love and patience.
Elsie is survived by her daughters Debbie Seiverling residing in Granbury, Texas and Lisa Price residing in Cumby, Texas. Her grandchildren include Randolph Hinely Jr. of Thornton, Colorado, Stacie Bowman of Aurora, Colorado, Frankie Price of Roseburg, Oregon, Matthew Price of Ashland, Oregon and Emily Price of Cumby, Texas. Her great grandchildren are Austin Hinely of Plano, Texas, Arion Price of Ashland, Oregon and Alexander and Oliver Bowman of Aurora, Colorado. She is also survived by her sister Alice Melchor of Sacramento, California and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Phares J. Seiverling, Brothers: Melvin Turner, Jack Turner, Bob Turner and Bill Turner, and Sisters: Cubie Bryant and Jean Whitmore.
