Cynthia Yvette Cain passed away on September 10, 2016.
Service: Tues., Sept. 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., East St. Paul Baptist Church, 5300 Oak Gove Road West, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
Cynthia was born June 10, 1958 to parents Morris and Ida Cain. At age six, she entered public school. She attended R. Victory Elementary School. In seventh and eighth grades she attended William James Junior High School and Rosemont Junior High School. She graduated from O. D. Wyatt High School. She attended Tarrant County Junior College for one year and then Texas Woman's University for 5 years. She graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Library Science Major.
She worked at Little People Landing School in Colorado. She also worked in Sam's book department and was a computer trainer in Colorado. She worked in circulation at the Aurora, Colorado Public Library.
Cynthia was baptized by Rev. J. J. Jennings, the pastor of Mansfield Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1973 her family moved to another church, East St. Paul Baptist Church. There, she was an usher and was in the youth choir. Later she was the supervisor of the youth.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Morris Cain.
She is survived by her mother, Ida Cain Smith; brother, Eric Cain; sister, Kalani Cain Waldron; and a host of other family and friends.
