Obituary of Arlie David Boone
Please share a memory of Arlie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Arlie David Boone passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 after a long fight like only he could fight. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, hunter and friend.
Service: 10 am Saturday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth.
Interment: Seaton Cemetery, Leon Junction, Texas.
Anyone that knew David knows that he was a man of his word that stood his ground and fought for what he believed in. His passion for hunting made him a strong individual that taught him determination, dedication and patience that he passed down to his children and their children. His knowledge and good nature spread to those he would meet even only in passing and left him a legend in the minds of many. He had stories to tell of his life and times that no one could believe but believed because they knew only a Boone could have been a part of.
He was a part of a generation of Boones that made up the history of Fort Worth in many peoples opinion. He was a fiesty character that will live in the hearts and minds of many people that his infectious character has reached or touched throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his father Arlie Boone and his mother Ruby Theola Boone as well as generations of Boones and Ballards that made this great family who they are.
He is survived by a world of people who loved him: sister, Jean Caddell and her husband Charles Caddell; brother, Steve Boone; son, David Micheal Boone Sr. and wife Lisa Boone; daughter, Diana Michelle Putman; grandchildren, Destiny Boone, Zachariah Boone, David Micheal Boone Jr., Dustin Robertson, Erin Nichole White, Landon Putman, Ashten Putman, and Kristian Putman; great-grand children, Gracelinn, Hadley Faith Putman, and Adalynn Robertson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The list of family and friends that knew and loved him is by far too long to mention because there was rarely a person he met that he didn't like or that he had made an impact on in some way.
He will be missed dearly by many and loved forever by all but we must know in our hearts that he is where love will surround him and where pain no longer exists. He is perpetually living the best days of his life with his gun in hand and his hunting dogs by his side chasing the buck of his dreams.
