I have finally found her after looking for a while. I didn’t get a card from her two Christmases ago and when the card was returned this past Christmas I started trying to find her – to no avail. I knew her in San Antonio. We went to every festival, parades and enjoyed puttering around in places like Artisans Alley, the missions and so much more. She loved tennis and was so great at it. There was always a tournament she could participate in. We picked Prickly Pear cactus and made incredible jelly and syrup. I remember once going to, I think, her mother’s backyard and picking those incredible Texas pecans. We celebrated and we commiserated. My heart is at peace and I know that she is at peace. A life very well lived. My condolences to her family. Blessings, Linda Laurendeau Florida

I just found out about Betty’s passing and my heart is broken! Your mother and grandmother was so special that I can’t begin to call out the words to describe her! Without her we would never have survived USAA! What a great friend she was and I’ll always remember what she did for All Of Us!! God Bless You Betty!!! Steve Sledge

It has been years since I saw Betty. I can say for certain that she was great fellow employee who you could count. She always had a smile for you. And she was as tough as nails when she needed to be. She was complete package. I hope my daughter becomes half the person she was. Goodbye for now. Keep a court open for me!!!

Betty and I shared many memorable moments as fellow Project Managers, American Volkssport Association hikers, and Elf Louise volunteers, to name just a few activities we shared. I will miss her friendship dearly.
I pray that the lovely memories you have of your Mother and Grandmother comfort you as you mourn.
