Obituary of Jennifer Laing

Jennifer Laing, 39, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at HighRidge Church, 10100 Rolling Hills Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76126. Jenny was born on January 16, 1982, in Fort Worth to Karyn and Loren Laing. She was a 2000 graduate of Lake Country Christian School and attended John Brown University and The College at Southwestern. Jenny was an avid artist, well known for her Cloud paintings, some of which will be on display during her service. Jenny was a member of HighRidge Church and active with their Children’s Ministry, Worship Ministry and lead a small group Bible Study. Music was always a big part of her life, she loved the piano, guitar and singing. Jenny was a former 2nd grade schoolteacher at FB Christian School in Lafayette, La, former Dean of Woman at Tennessee Temple Woman’s University, former Acct Coordinator for the Amnet Group, former Residential/Activities Coordinator at the Gladney Center for Adoption, and former shopkeeper at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. She currently was the Market Manager for Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. Survivors: Parents, Karyn and Loren Laing; sisters, Julia Perez and husband Robert, Kathryn Dorris and husband Stephen, and Kristen Staltare and husband Joe; aunts and uncles, Scott Anthony and wife Marci, Cheryl Warner and husband Charley, Craig Laing and wife Debbie, Melodie Rolsten and husband Brent, and Gaylen Laing and wife Charlsa; and a host of numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
