Obituary of Michelle Len Taylor
Michelle Len Taylor, age 21, passed from this life on August 9, 2023, in Tuntutuliak, Alaska. She was born August 31, 2001, in Fort Worth, Texas to Mark and Jan Taylor.
Michelle was an active member of the North Davis Church of Christ youth group while in high school. She loved going on mission trips, church camps, weekly youth gatherings, and backpacking trips to Colorado. She graduated from High Point Academy in 2019, earning the title of Valedictorian for the inaugural graduating class. Michelle graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 2023, with a bachelor’s degree in social science with teacher licensure. While at Harding Michelle loved being a member of the Iota Chi social club. Following her graduation, Michelle moved to Alaska to teach middle and high school students.
Michelle was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Eva “DG” Gentry and her paternal grandparents, Bill and Arzelia “Susie” Taylor. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Jan Taylor, of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, David Taylor and wife Kory, of Searcy, Arkansas; brother, Jonathan Taylor, of Fort Worth; sister, Summer Taylor, of Fort Worth; grandfather, Joe Gentry, of Fort Worth; great-grandmother, Freda Gentry, of Ovila, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Michelle on August 19 at 2:00 at the North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington, Texas. Dress is casual. The family asks that attendees wear bright, happy colors in honor of Michelle’s life and legacy.
