Obituary of Andrew Kyle Dolph

Please share a memory of Andrew to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Andrew Kyle Dolph, 35, passed away on January 15, 2024, after a long, hard battle with cancer.

He was born on October 4, 1988 in Guam. Andrew grew up in Hurst, TX and graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 2007. He played in many sports, including basketball, soccer, and as the kicker of the high school football team. His love for all sports never waned.

Andrew briefly attended college at Louisiana Tech, but then decided he would move to Austin, TX and the Hill Country area where he spent the next 14 years. He was always strong willed and determined to live life on his own terms. He had many friends from different walks of life. Andrew worked hard, but played harder. Sixth street and Rainey street were an influence on his life. To know him was to love him.

While in Austin, Andrew met Heather Ford, and they had 2 beautiful children, Rainey and Ellie. His daughters were his life! He was working and developing a landscaping business when in early 2022, he was diagnosed with Epithelioid Angiosarcoma. He then moved back to the DFW metroplex area to be with family. Andrew fought his cancer with a vengeance. He never once believed cancer would beat him. He was such a fighter and always held a positive attitude.

Andrew is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Sue Dolph; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Knowles.

He is survived by his maternal grandfather, Ken Knowles of Weatherford, TX; father, Rick Dolph and step mother Wendy of Bedford, TX; mother, Jill Sisler of North Richland Hills, TX; daughters, Rainey and Ellie Dolph of Carrolton, TX;; brother, Matt Dolph of North Richland Hills, TX; step brother, Dakota Cox of Hurst, TX; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends!
