Obituary of Jorge Bracero
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jorge Bracero, who left this world on October 16, 2024, at the age of 50, in Aledo, Texas. Born on April 15, 1974, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Jorge was the beloved son of Jorge Bracero and Anna Oliveras. He is survived by his parents, wife Claudia, children Julian and Elena, and siblings Javier, Anna Maria, Giancarlo, Franco, and Adriano.
Jorge's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and altruism, whose vibrant spirit touched all who knew him. He spent his formative years in Puerto Rico and Costa Rica, attending Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Providencia in San Juan and Country Day School in Costa Rica. Pursuing his thirst for knowledge, Jorge graduated from Penn State University before earning a graduate degree from Texas Tech University.
Professionally, Jorge was a dedicated and respected figure in the financial sector. He worked with integrity and passion at institutions such as JP Morgan, MUFG, and US Bank. His colleagues admired him for his unwavering commitment and his ability to bring out the best in everyone around him.
In 2002, Jorge embarked on a lifelong journey of love when he married Claudia Geyer on October 25th in the picturesque town of Positano, Italy. Together, they built a beautiful family and life, blessed with two wonderful children, Julian and Elena, who were the light of Jorge's life.
Jorge was a man of many passions, using his time and resources to make a tangible difference in his community. His generous heart led him to donate school supplies, support food banks, contribute to equine-assisted therapy initiatives, and aid charitable pharmacies. His philanthropic spirit will be remembered through the countless lives he touched and improved.
In this time of loss, we find solace in the memories we shared with Jorge and the indelible mark he left on our lives. His laughter, warmth, and love will forever echo in our hearts.
